The Young Enterprise Scotland company programme sees fifth and sixth pupils set up and run their own companies during the school year. The programme is aimed at giving students valuable real-life business experience before they embark on their professional careers.

While we may be in the midst of some of the toughest trading conditions in many years, the quality of the entries we received this year is testament to the hard work and creativity of the students who have taken part in the company programme.

As the largest Young Enterprise Team in Scotland, encompassing over 40 schools in four local authority areas, the Lothian area is perhaps the hardest of all the regional awards to win.

To help with the organising of this event could you please intimate your intention of playing in this event by Friday 5th May to the area team
