Pathways into Landscaping & Construction

Pathways into Landscaping & Construction

Taking part in our Landscaping & Construction Pathways Programme will give young people an opportunity to develop basic practical skills necessary to work in most of the land based disciplines such as horticulture and soft & hard landscaping.

Advantages of participation include a realistic expectation of the work involved in the land-based industries and develop important basic trade skills. You get off-the-job training as well as practical experience. Employers and colleges will recognise the skills and qualifications you have gained when applying for an apprenticeship.

Our Rouken Glen Academy is a purpose-built facility which delivers this programme with the aim of helping to prepare students for an apprenticeship, employment and further education courses in the land-based industries. The course will include personal development, employability and practical workplace skills.
