Tuesday 1st June - Company & Team Programme Finals & Volunteer Celebrations

Company Programme

Our 17 Scottish Finalists will be competing to win the Overall  Lyreco Scottish Company of the Year, and will ultimately go on to represent Scotland at the Young Enterprise UK Finals in the middle of June. Each team has had to submit a 10 page company report, submit a 15 slide visual pitch and take part in a 15 minute interview with our panel of judges.

  • IOD Scotland Managing Director of the Year Award

  • Skills Development Scotland Innovation Award
  • Business Gateway Business Adviser of the Year Award
  • SQA Link Teacher of the Year Award
  • Deane Computer Solutions Social Impact Award
  • Accenture Creativity Award
  • Marketing Society of Scotland Marketing Award

Team Programme

Team Programme is an enterprise journey for students who have mild to moderate learning difficulties. Designed to aid young people’s transition from education into independent living and employment, the programme develops confidence and life skills through working as a team to set up and run an enterprise. This programme was run for the first time in Scotland this year. Two awards will be given to celebrate the achievements of the young people involved.

The following awards will be presented on the evening:

  • The Royal Bank of Scotland Best Overall Company
  • Cosgrove Care Best Presentation Award
  • Indigo Best Logo Award
  • Avalo HR Best Advert Award
  • MacRoberts Journey Award
  • Enable Special Achievement Award

  • Chroma Ventures Outstanding Contribution to YES 
  • Scottish Tech Army Volunteer of the Year
