Today we launch our Bridge 2 Business Educators Awards 2020!
Every year we celebrate the hard-work through enterprise from our delivery colleges with your educator awards!
Our fantastic Bridge 2 Business programme, which is currently delivered across nine colleges in Scotland, engages with over 10,000 students annually - inspiring, connecting and supporting them into, and through enterprise. Whilst we do an amazing job, its vitally important that we thank our incredible partner colleges, FE lecturers pushing enterprise into the front of their students, the students who engage and learn through us, and lastly our inspiring local heroes, who take the time to support our events, workshops and class deliveries!
The Bridge 2 Business 'Enterprise Educator Awards 2020' aim to recognise and reward students, colleges, educators and individuals who are leading the way in enterprise for Scotland. A new category has been added this year -'The Innovation Award' which will recognise innovative ideas and solutions that have contributed to a business plan or project.
Last year seen our winners attend the Festival Of Youth Enterprise at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange, to collect their beautifully hand crafted Bridge 2 Business award by Claire Halligan of Pop Up Jewellery LTD. Claire a former student of City Of Glasgow College, received help from the Bridge 2 Business programme when she first had her business idea. Since then, Claire has became a local hero for the programme, and engages with us often.
This year our judges are Bruce Walker of Future X, Claire Halligan of Pop Up Jewellery LTD and Elaine Calderwood of Scottish Enterprise.
