The Circular Economy Challenge is a national enterprise challenge, introducing students to the idea of a Circular Economy and the impact of our society on the planet.
More than ever, young people are acutely aware of their impact on the planet and what they can do to help make a difference.
The programme is designed to introduce the young people to the benefits and principles of the Circular Economy through case studies and interaction with business ambassadors. Pupils will design a ’circular’ product or service where everything has value, and nothing is wasted. They will then be given the opportunity to present their ideas to a judging panel of experts.
The programme enables the pupils to develop their enterprising skills in a real-life context, giving them an understanding of the world of business, design and technology and have the opportunity to create a company, carry out market research, create a business plan and advertise their product or service with its own logo and tagline.
Our Vision is for Scotland to be a place where all young people are given the opportunity to have a rewarding future in work and life - no matter where they start their journey.
Our Mission is to inspire and equip young people, irrespective of their background, to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise education.
In everything that we do, we will work with the following values: Integrity, Enthusiasm, Creativity & Collaboration.
