The Scottish Inventors Challenge is a full day programme for upper primary delivered in-school which encourages young people to learn about successful inventions hailing from Scotland.
The programme is designed to encourage creative thinking among the young people and identify where modern day products could become dated in the near future. In teams, pupils will ’reinvent’ a well-known product and will present their ideas back to their classmates.
The programme will enable the pupils to build upon their enterprising skills in a product development context. Students will gain an understanding of the world of business and have the opportunity to create a company, create a business plan and advertise their product or service with its own logo and tagline.
A very entertaining session which developed important enterprising skills for the future.
Our Vision is for Scotland to be a place where all young people are given the opportunity to have a rewarding future in work and life - no matter where they start their journey.
Our Mission is to inspire and equip young people, irrespective of their background, to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise education.
In everything that we do, we will work with the following values: Integrity, Enthusiasm, Creativity & Collaboration.
