We are hosting Scotland’s first and foremost Festival of Youth Enterprise. This will feature our broad range of enterprise activities, our supporters, the enterprise network and young people from across Scotland.

Event Details

Young Enterprise Scotland has been working to inspire and equip young people to learn and succeed through enterprise in Scotland since 1992.

On 5th & 6th June 2017, at Hampden Park in Glasgow, we will host Scotland's first and foremost Festival of Youth Enterprise. This will feature our broad range of enterprise activities, our supporters, the enterprise network and young people from across Scotland. In conjunction with our Media Partner BQ a leading national brand recognised for celebrating and inspiring entrepreneurship to help businesses succeed and grow. With a substantial digital offering, first-class printed publications and a range of targeted events taking place nationwide, BQ reaches a diverse audience of entrepreneurs, MDs and CEOs of high growth businesses.

Day One: Monday, 5th June

The Market Place

The chance for young people to meet with 25 potential employers, Further & Higher education establishments and partner organisations.

Guest Speakers

Be inspired by some of Scotland's brightest young people from the business world.

Hear from some of Scotland's top young entrepreneurs who started their journey at an early age, including Jamie Hutcheon. Find the inspiration to follow in his footsteps when he fulfilled his dream of becoming a professional Chocolatier when he opened Cocoa Ooze at the age of just 17!

Enterprise Passport

Every young person attending on the day will be issued with an enterprise passport and will have the chance of taking home an iPad or one of our other top prizes.

Day Two: Tuesday, 6th June

Young Enterprise Scotland Company Programme Awards Final.

All 15 Scottish finalists will take part in the presentations on the 6th June to determine the Barclays Young Enterprise Scotland Company of the Year 2017.

    Jamie Hutcheon is the founder of Cocoa Ooze. He started the business at the age is 17 in 2008 and he is a great example of a hard working, outgoing, confident, inspiring young professional with great determination and drive.

    Sylvia is the founding director of MsMissMrs CIC, a social enterprise founded on pants, personal development programmes and a newly opened community empowerment hub.
