My Money Talks

Programme Overview

Our MyMoneyTalks workshops have been designed to run during the course of an academic year, to young people from S4-S6 to encourage young people across Scotland to have a positive relationship with money. We provide financial education, free of charge to S4-S6 Scottish secondary students. We are the leading charity for Financial Education delivering to thousands of students annually.

What’s in it for young people?

  • Suitable for students from S4-S6
  • Develop essential skills required for future life covering the two most important subjects, mainly budgeting and debt.
  • We believe that students will learn these essential money skills to last throughout their adult lives
  • Engaging with a Financial Education Officer from Young Enterprise Scotland

What’s in it for you and your school?

  • Class numbers of between 30 and 120 can participate in each school, with a recommendation of 30 students for most impact from the programme
  • Flexibility to run the programme within the timetable, or as an extra-curricular project
  • Drives positive attitudes to learning, life, work & finances

Young Enterprise support:

  • Access to a PVG checked Financial Education Officer with 5 years+ experience delivering Financial Education
  • Dedicated Financial Education Officer to support students through the programme - either remotely or in person.
