Fraser is our Company Programmes & Digital Delivery Manager here at Young Enterprise Scotland but began his journey with the organisation much earlier. In 2014 he participated in the Company Programme when at high school as Managing Director of Pandora's Box (that's a whole other story!), and then went on to volunteer as the Chair of the Forth Valley Local Area Team and be a business adviser to schools before joining the staff team as a Programme Executive on the Bridge 2 Business programme at New College Lanarkshire in February 2018, then moving to the Senior Programme Executive for Company Programme in February 2019 and now in his current post managing the CP & Digital Team!
After starting his own creative learning business aged 18, Fraser has first-hand experience of setting up and developing a new company and he hopes that this will help inspire and motivate students from across Scotland to consider what their own entrepreneurial skills are and how they could be developed through the Company Programme.
In his spare time, you can usually find Fraser in the theatre (Covid permitting!) - whether that be directing local amateur groups, performing in musicals across Scotland or simply enjoying the latest touring show as an audience member!
In addition to his work at YES, Fraser is the Founder and President of Cumbernauld Musical Theatre Society, a Director of See Think Make CIC and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.
Our Vision is for Scotland to be a place where all young people are given the opportunity to have a rewarding future in work and life - no matter where they start their journey.
Our Mission is to inspire and equip young people, irrespective of their background, to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise education.
In everything that we do, we will work with the following values: Integrity, Enthusiasm, Creativity & Collaboration.
