Leonie Griffin

Finance Education Officer

Leonie has worked in financial education since 1993 as a Rural Business Management lecturer at the Scottish Agricultural College (nowSRUC) and, over the past 14 years, as a Financial Education Officer for the Stewart Ivory Financial Education Trust in Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Scottish Borders. Leonie is passionate about empowering young people through education and discussion on areas of financial capability so that they can engage with and succeed in their personal financial life journeys. In her spare time she loves sailing, cycling, art and birdwatching. She completed the Royal Yacht Association Dinghy Sailing Levels 1 and 2 in June 2021 and has become the proud custodian of a 1972 Mirror dinghy - Altair.
