Lorna Gunn

Finance Education Officer

Lorna trained as a shipping lawyer in London and New Orleans and her day job is now as a lawyer for the UK Government. As well as presenting our financial education workshops to schools in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, Lorna teaches Personal Finance (You and Your Money) at the Open University. She is passionate about sharing how to manage money with the younger generation in the hope that good money management will, in turn, give them some of the options and freedom in life that it has given to her. Debt, like mobile phones, can be a good servant but is always a terrible master.

In her spare time Lorna enjoys cooking and hillwalking. She also supports mindfulness classes.
