Nicola McMillan

I currently work for Scottish Enterprise supporting new start technology based companies achieve significant investment and turnover targets which in turn supports the Scottish economy. The entrepreneurial ecosystem is a subject that is therefore important to me.

Young Enterprise Scotland fits perfectly within this ecosystem supporting young individual's progress in their chosen field through the development of entrepreneurial skills. As a graduate of the YES Company programme whilst at secondary school and a scientist to trade, combining these skills through my training and work has enabled me to bridge the gap between science and business and adds strategic value to the companies I work with daily.
