Julia joined Young Enterprise Scotland in September 2013. She looks after visitors who come into the office and provides administration support to the fundraising team.
She enjoys working for YE Scotland because she has the opportunity to learn about fundraising which is a completely new role to her. She also enjoys being part of a charity who really make a difference to young peoples lives.
Julia once represented The Vale of the White Horse in Sint-Nikklas in Belgium for their Year 2000 EuroMarket with her Salt Dough craft models. This included a police escort down to the marketplace from the hotel. She said it was, 'scary when you are driving on the wrong side of the road!'
She also has a passion for films and likes anything from Brief Encounter and Casablanca to Pirates of the Caribbean, Iron Man, Thor, Avengers, to anything really really scary!
Her favourite quote is - 'A best friend is one who knows all about you, but loves you just the same.'
Our Vision is for Scotland to be a place where all young people are given the opportunity to have a rewarding future in work and life - no matter where they start
Our Mission is to inspire & equip all young people to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise.
In everything that we do, we will work with the following values: Integrity, Enthusiasm, Creativity & Collaboration.
