Carolyn has specialised in employment law for more than 12 years and represents client's interests in both contentious and non-contentious matters. She acts for a mix of employers and employees.

She is an accredited Employment Law Specialist accredited by the Law Society of Scotland. She now predominately advises employer clients and appears in Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunals.

Carolyn advises on all aspects of employment law including all strands of discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy, jurisdiction and TUPE. She has a particular interest in discrimination matters and regularly advises and trains clients on discrimination related issues. She is a regular speaker at external seminars and has provided tailored training programmes to a number of clients.
