High School pupils to run Christmas Fayres.

Pupils from high schools across Fife will be running Christmas Fayres at the Kingsgate Shopping Centre on Friday 30th November and St Andrews Town Hall on Saturday 1st December starting from 9:00 AM.

As part of the Young Enterprise Scotland (YES) Company Programme pupils have set up their own companies and have been busy developing products, manufacturing and sourcing items for the trade fayres.

Fife’s pupils will be pitted against schools from across Scotland, with trade fayres held all over the country in a competition similar to the BBC’s The Young Apprentice. However, Fife Area Board believe they already have an edge over the competition with 266 pupils in 27 companies already set up in schools from every corner of Fife.

'The trade fayres are a great opportunity for people to support pupils from their local schools. The pupils have been working hard and have some fantastic products that would make ideal stocking fillers for Christmas.”
