We just wrapped up another of our ever-successful Pathways Programmes.
Pathways into Hair and Beauty started on 9th January and ran right through until 7th March, we had five young people taking part.
All five completed the course and all achieved their Level 4 Employability Award.
Overall, the attendance on the course was 93%, which is a wonderful achievement for all five girls.
Now, the girls are looking to their futures:
Simmy and Melissa are both volunteering at Yes Hair &Beauty Academy to build up more skills and experience for employment.
Aimee is expecting a baby soon but has applied for Level 5 Beauty course at West College Scotland.
Stephanie and Catline are joining our Pathways to Success programme beginning on 14th March and are both considering college and modern apprenticeships.
Programme Executive Catriona Smith said "they were a great group and they worked well together.
Our Vision is for Scotland to be a place where all young people are given the opportunity to have a rewarding future in work and life - no matter where they start their journey.
Our Mission is to inspire and equip young people, irrespective of their background, to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise education.
In everything that we do, we will work with the following values: Integrity, Enthusiasm, Creativity & Collaboration.
