Hats off to Third Sector Leaders

  • The IoD announced their shortlist for their Third Sector Director of the Year

We were thrilled this week to hear that our CEO Geoff Leask is among a select few shortlisted for IoD's Third Sector Director of the Year.

Geoff will be facing stiff competition ahead of their annual awards ceremony taking place next month as he goes up against Directors from Social Investment Scotland, Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity and The Yard.

It is an honour to be shortlisted – lovely recognition for a strong team effort that has enabled the transformational change that has put Young Enterprise Scotland in its current position of strength as Scotland's leading enterprise engagement charity

Geoff Leask, CEO YE Scotland

The awards shortlist 47 business leaders representing the variety of businesses across Scotland.

Directors working in the third sector often have the very tricky job of balancing more for less. This year's finalists in the third sector category are all doing brilliant things for their charities - for those who they support, as well as for the dedicated staff who they work with.
