The Book Publishing Challenge, a country-wide, online learning challenge for Primary and Secondary schools from Scotland's Enterprising Schools, in collaboration with Young Enterprise Scotland is now open until 15th May
Participants take on a role at a Children's Publishers and have been asked to pitch their idea for a book that will address the issue of inequality in books available for the children's market.
They must:– Decide on a title– Design the cover– Write a synopsis (max of 300 words) – and plan an advertising strategy for the book
The challenge is open to both Primary and Secondary schools, with adapted workbooks available for each level.
We're so excited to announce that finalists will be judged by the author and publisher, Mary Thomson of Whitewater Publishing and that winners will have the exciting opportunity to have their book published by Whitewater Publishing if they choose to go on to complete their book!
The deadline for entries is the 15th of May at noon.
