Vote YES To Share of £1 Million

Young Enterprise Scotland has been shortlisted among a group of others to receive a share of Persimmon Homes' Building Futures £1 million pot supporting under-18s across the UK. But we need your help!

It is a huge achievement to have been selected as a finalist, but now we really need our supporters to get behind us and get voting so that we are in the strongest possible position to earn one of the top three awards.

Geoff Leask, CEO YE Scotland

We're campaigning for your votes in order for us to deliver our Team Programme across Scotland.

The Team Programme is a version of our flagship programme which has been specifically designed with young people with ASN in mind. Adjustments include easy-to-read workbooks, clear and helpful visuals and more support for team roles within the student company.

The Team Programme allows individuals the opportunity to develop their skills for beyond education and improve their employability through confidence building, resilience and the development of their communication skills.

Voting could not be simpler, just head to our voting page and select us!

No need to even register your email address - and the best bit - you can vote each day!

Building Futures is being delivered through the Persimmon Charitable Foundation, which last year donated £620,000 to support children's sport.

Through Building Futures, a total of 128 grants of £1,000 have been awarded to groups supporting sport, education & arts and health.

Persimmon Homes is an official partner of Team GB and the Persimmon Charitable Foundation enlisted the help of medalists Kat Copeland and Callum Skinner to help determine the three regional finalists for each business division.

One initiative from each category now has the opportunity to win £100,000 through a public vote, we're over the moon to have been included within the education & arts category.

As well as the £100,000 first prize, there will be a £50,000 second prize and a £20,000 third prize in each sector, while a further 87 shortlisted projects will each receive £5,000.

Online voting is open now and will close at midnight on September 27.
