Now that the final college semester has kicked off we have rounded up some of the most exciting opportunities for students to get stuck into live industry challenges and competitions.

Are you a student or recent grad with a flair for creative comms? Companies like KFC, Art Fund and Childline are looking for your briefs to solve their problems. Deadline: 28 Mar
The briefs are open to anyone studying, or to have recently graduated anywhere in the world. Your deadline for submitting your ideas in response to them is 5pm GMT on 28th March 2019. As always, entries will be judged by the organisations to have written the briefs before Commendations are announced in June, and all those Commended invited to a special exhibition and ceremony in London in the Autumn.

Help share your cultural top tips in your city and win £200 and a training package. Art Fund are looking for students to write insiders' guides on 10 UK cities. Deadline: 24 Feb
Young Enterprise Scotland have partnered with Virgin Lifestartto support college students across Scotland in accessing (and hopefully winning) the unique range of live industry challenges from companies like Virgin Galactic and Sony.

Perhaps one of the most prestigious of the design awards, and certainly one of the most recognisable with the range of pencil trophies, the D&AD Awards 2019 are open for entry.
