Just over a week ago, we held our annual Festival Of Youth Enterprise, which seen S5/S6 Company Programme finalists attend the big occasion, to find out who had won the all important "Company Of The Year".
This year, we headed East coast, and Edinburgh's Corn Exchange was a place of celebration for young people, educators and volunteers who get involved and support with Young Enterprise Scotland.
Our fantastic Bridge 2 Business programme, which is currently delivered across nine colleges in Scotland, was for the first year, embedded and celebrated at this years #FOYE19.
We work with over 10,000 students annually within Bridge 2 Business, inspiring, connecting and supporting them into, and through enterprise. While we do an amazing job, its vitally important that we thank our incredible partner colleges, FE lecturers pushing enterprise into the front of their students, the students who engage and learn through us, and lastly our inspiring local heroes, who take the time to support our events, workshops and class deliveries!
To celebrate this success, and the work we all do, this year the Bridge 2 Business Educator Awards were a part of the #FOYE19!
Not only that, HND event management students from West Lothian College ran the second day, and awards dinner(...and what an awesome job they did!). The stunning Company Programme Awards given out to S5/6 winners on the night, were the incredible craftsmanship of NC Furniture Craft students of Fife College. Uniforms worn by staff on both days of #FOYE19, were designed and created by Glasgow Kelvin College fashion students!
And, finally the awards handed out to our B2B Educator award winners, were handcrafted by Bridge 2 Business Alumni - Claire Halligan Of Pop Up Jewellery!
