Raising aspirations and empowering young people to make informed decisions about their subject and career choices.
In a rapidly changing world, more than ever, young people need support to make informed choices about future careers.
Learn to Earn motivates students by encouraging them to consider financial plans for the future, set goals and think about their future study options. Learn to Earn explores themes such as personal skills and talents, career choices, salaries, earnings, income tax, the cost of living, financial planning and budgeting.
The programme brings in volunteers from the world of work to share their own experiences and support the young people to develop their own goals and aspirations.
From January 2021, there will be two forms of Learn to Earn:
These are complementary to each other, and whilst they can be completed independently, they also provide opportunities for schools to run the digital programme when tighter social distancing measures are in force and follow up with the in-school programme as and when they are relaxed.
Our Vision is for Scotland to be a place where all young people are given the opportunity to have a rewarding future in work and life - no matter where they start their journey.
Our Mission is to inspire and equip young people, irrespective of their background, to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise education.
In everything that we do, we will work with the following values: Integrity, Enthusiasm, Creativity & Collaboration.
