Project Executive

Salary: £25,000 (FTE)
Location: Glasgow

Young Enterprise Scotland is recruiting for a Project Executive Role to develop, facilitate, and evaluate a new Programme that will seek to encourage young people to think about how businesses can be successfully conducted in a world with finite resources and will increase young people’s awareness and respect for their environment and others in their global community.

The position is a part time post (25 hours) commencing in March 2018 with conclusion in December 2018. The role will be based within our Rouken Glen Centre in the south side of Glasgow and involve travel in the greater Glasgow area. Young Enterprise Scotland will also consider a self-employed contracted position where appropriate. 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working with young people in a learning/training environment
  • A passion for enterprise
  • An understanding of the current curriculum and assessment process, a working knowledge of SQA qualifications is desirable
  • An ability to develop and deliver resources for age range 5 -18

Skills and Attributes

  • Competent IT skills/Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Confident, knowledgeable and approachable
  • Ability to work in a flexible manner to meet the needs of the business
  • Own transport – willing to use and insured for business purposes
  • Highly professional business image, self-aware
  • Strong sense of ensuring all learners are given fair and equal access to learning and support
